Swift Chat
Google Chat, native on the Mac.
A fast, keyboard-first app for people who live in direct messages, group chats and spaces all day. Conversations open instantly, drafts never disappear, and new messages show up in about a second.

Instant
Every conversation opens from an encrypted cache on your Mac while Google stays the source of truth. No spinners between chats.
Keyboard-first
Jump anywhere with ⌘K, search with ⇧⌘F, mention with @, edit your last message with ↑, and close a thread with Esc.
Dependable
Drafts survive restarts. Messages sent offline wait in line and go out when you're back, and a failed send keeps its text with Retry.
Invite-only, for Entropy
Swift Chat signs in with an entropy.tech Google account. Live updates are turned on per person: ask Arturo in Google Chat to add you, then follow the steps below.
Get started in a minute
- Download Swift Chat, unzip it and drag it into Applications. It's signed and notarized by Apple.
- Open it and sign in with your entropy.tech Google account. Allow notifications if you want alerts for direct messages and mentions.
- That's it. Swift Chat updates itself; you can also choose Swift Chat → Check for Updates…
Messages travel directly between your Mac and Google. The small relay that speeds up live updates only forwards change notices — never message text, attachments or tokens.
