A quiet Markdown viewer
I read far more Markdown than I write. READMEs, notes, plans that agents leave behind. Opening them in an editor shows raw text, and opening them in a browser means an extension or a build step.
Inkwell opens any .md file and shows it typeset: tables, task lists, code and footnotes, in light or dark.
Space to preview, ⌘E to edit
Select a Markdown file in Finder and press Space. Quick Look shows the rendered page instead of raw text.
When you do want to change something, ⌘E flips between the rendered page and a plain editor. Each keeps its place, and changes save as you go.
Light on battery
Pages render natively in a few milliseconds, with no scripts running. Nothing happens in the background while you read or type.
